He sent me a picture of himself in a fucking hammock on St Thomas the other day while I was getting buried in snow - so I threatened him with getting thrown in a dumpster if he didn't bring me back some Mount Gay Rum. He came through. I want to drink it now. Never had Mt. Gay light but I am sure it is fine

I think they do actually let you board some places with duty free stuff if it's sealed and cleared from the duty free shop, but it probably varies.

yeah from a few locations, but usually once you hit the us if you connect it has to be stowed

I see. Yeah, connections would be a killer. I seem to recall zero fucks being given in China as long as you had it in a sealed duty free bag.

hell it used to not be an issue. I was on a business flight coming back the day the shoe bomber went stupid and that was the day liquid ended. I had a bottle of Grey Goose to kill before I hit security. God damned right, I think I tossed 1/4 of a 750ml before going in. I slept very well on that flight.

haha yeah he was getting paid to sit on his MOTHERFUCKING HAMMOCK because all flights into boston were stopped. On expense account. Still an HR issue, but I wont rat him out. He bribed me

It's nice to see that I'm not the only person who threatens my friends with bodily harm for these circumstances. I once got a good bottle of bourbon for these types of shenanigans. Guilt can be a great thing.
